Hi! I'm Jaymie Bentley and I am a Utah native. I was first introduced to Foot Zoning around age 11, and have been zoned for more than half my life. Encouraged to start my own practice about 5 years ago, I attended Wellness Life Zone, Foot Zone Academy and graduated in 2020. Inspired by healing professionals in my late teens, I have had the opportunity to work and interact with neuro-massage practitioners, physical therapists, stem cell therapists, emotional processing therapists, massage therapists, herbalists, chiropractors, and many other modalities. I am constantly on a journey to optimal health and wellness and enjoy every second of it. Apart from foot zoning, I love weightlifting, yoga and reformer pilates. I currently live in Murray, Utah with my husband, who is a physical therapist, and our two children.
Amber’s philosophy on life is deeply rooted in her belief that everyone has a story worthy of love
and understanding, and she will discover the best in you! Amber’s contributions to the holistic
healing community exemplify a deep commitment to advancing the field of foot zoning and
empowering practitioners.
Foot Zone Education: Amber’s training began here, in the USA, in 1992, as an original student of
the esteemed and late Dr. Charles Ersdal, of Norway, recognized as the “Father of Foot Zone
Therapy.” Amber earned her board certification from him in 1994, gaining appreciation for his
profound knowledge. She has advanced his legacy through her diligent studies, research,
findings, and advancements of the foot zone technique.
Professional credentials: with a background as a certified foot zone practitioner, licensed
massage therapist, a licensed LLT, TCM, and Ayurvedic Medicine, Amber’s expertise spans
multiple modalities, enriching her holistic approach to the body’s ability to heal.
Educational contributions: Amber’s commitment to education is evident through her lifetime
research, client pathology studies, findings, and authorship of books and classes in Anatomy and
Physiology, The Professional Practitioner, Gentle Healing, the K.I.T. (knowledge, intent, and
technique), and the co-authorship of the WLZ foot zone books, expanding the knowledge base
of practitioners.
Innovative discoveries: Amber’s groundbreaking research led to her to the discovery and
addition of 150+ advanced acupressure points on the feet, and revolutionized the strata of the
foot zone map, advancing the healing process in the foot zone technique. Her contributions
have built the WLZ foot zone library of research and have expanded the scope of efficacy.
Pioneering advocacy and leadership: Amber and many others came together in support of
Trudy Thurgood’s and Representative Green’s HB207, legalizing the foot zone technique to
stand as its own industry in the state of Utah. This did require all Foot Zone Practitioners to be
certified through a school and/or organization recognized by DOPL. These Founders were
instrumental in establishing UFZA policies and procedures, ensuring high standards of schools,
and Certified Foot Zone Practitioners.
Leadership in professional organizations: Throughout her tenure, as a board member of the
UFZA, Amber has exemplified unwavering leadership. Serving in key roles such as membership
clerk, chairperson elect, chairperson, and board educator. She has participated and led within
the organization with foresight and dedication.
Nationalization of foot zoning: As chairperson, and board educator, Amber spearheaded the
help of UFZA board members to the culmination of the National Foot Zone Certification Board, a
groundbreaking initiative that standardized the foot zone education and certification on a
national level, and additionally, the National Foot Zone Association, to further solidify the
nationalization of foot zone therapy, providing a unified platform for practitioners across the
country.
Personal life: Amber was born and raised in the Montana countryside, where she developed a
profound love for the outdoors and cultivated a nurturing spirit through raising pets, including
sheep and cows who lost their mothers. She is married to her college sweetheart, and they have
6 children, and their spouses, who have blessed them with 17 grandchildren. Amber is a free
spirit, often spotted barefoot and at ease. Her love for adventure shines through 4-wheeling, and
the outdoors. To her, a smile and genuine “thank you” aren’t just gestures; they’re filled with
power, warmth and reassurance. Meet Amber, and you’ve met a friend.

Saige began her foot zoning journey in 2016 she felt a massive draw to take a foot zoning class and defer her last semester at Weber State in Professional Sales against the advice of her college professors. In 2017 she graduated both from foot zoning school and college within two weeks of each other. She then took a job in the trucking industry in sales where she worked 47 very long weeks in what she refers to as “cubical hell.” Until she quit and said I am going to go work on people’s feet for a living and returned to her hometown where she had already began growing her business on the side! Since then, Saige felt the call to start her own school Wise Ways Inc. at the end of the day Saige truly believes every person could benefit from a foot zone and that requires a lot of trained hands to do so! She is excited to be part of this board to help make foot zoning accessible everywhere! This modality truly has changed the entire trajectory of her life and she is passionate to share that with others!

After working in the dental industry for nearly a decade in many areas as a dental assistant and front office manager, Kristen was introduced to foot zone therapy 9 years ago. Having received multiple foot zones while expecting her second child, she felt deeply that this was something she needed to pursue. So with her 3 week old baby in tow, she attended classes to become a certified foot zone practitioner and has loved it ever since. She is elated when clients feel the amazing effects of the foot zone and loves to support them on their health journey. Kristen has been zoning for nearly 6 years, and instructing for nearly three years. She now lives the Dayton Ohio area, and she is excited to help establish a strong foot zone presence in the area.
Kristen recently served on the board of the Utah Foot Zone Association and is humbled to be the initial chair for the National Foot Zone Association. She is actively seeking ways to be able to connect the foot zone community nationwide while also introducing and promoting it to other healing modalities and holistic practitioners as well as the nation at large through education and outreach.
Kristen is eager to work with the rest of the NFZA board to expand the reach of foot zone therapy to states nationwide.
